Project Summary
We are seeking highly skilled English > Italian Language Experts to contribute to diverse domains including Technical, Marketing, Finance, Medical, and Legal. This role is ideal for professionals with strong linguistic expertise who are passionate about ensuring accuracy, nuance, and cultural adaptation in Japanese content — especially in projects supporting AI and NLP systems.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality translation, review, and linguistic QA for English > Japanese projects.
Act as language lead by setting linguistic standards, terminology, and style guidelines.
Collaborate with project teams to align on requirements and resolve linguistic issues.
Deliver domain-specific expertise to ensure precise, context-appropriate outputs.
(Preferred) Contribute to computational linguistics tasks, including terminology alignment, data annotation, or QA for machine-learning datasets.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in translation/localization (EN > IT).
Proven track record in QA and/or language lead roles.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one domain (Technical, Marketing, Finance, Medical, or Legal).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Degree in Translation, Modern Languages, or a related field is a plus — equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
Familiarity with computational linguistics, terminology management, or working with NLP/AI datasets is a strong advantage.
