Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to lead and optimize the
end-to-end delivery of our data collection, annotation, and content translation services. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, project management, and team
leadership, with proven experience driving efficiency, managing global teams, and ensuring the
seamless delivery of high-quality services to clients. This is a critical role responsible for
ensuring operational excellence, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous
improvement across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimize all aspects of data collection and content delivery operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of projects that meet client requirements.
  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, managing resources, timelines, and budgets to consistently achieve project goals.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication, and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a global, remote team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Drive performance, engagement, and development within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate operational processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, implement efficiencies, and leverage technology and automation to enhance productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively to deliver high-quality results while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, providing insights and reports to senior management to guide decision-making and support growth initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including product development, sales, and technology, to ensure that operational capabilities align with business goals and client needs.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, project management, or related fields, with at least 8 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong background in managing SAAS companies, data services or content delivery operations.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management, with the ability to communicate complex operational strategies clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, including the implementation of automation and technology solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms for managing distributed teams and projects.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize operational performance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop talent within a diverse, global team.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
